Washington County Historical Society

We have lots of great ideas on how to preserve our county’s records and heritage. We have even more ideas for programs and events to celebrate our shared history.

We DO NOT have enough members with time and energy to help make these ideas come to reality. Please consider joining and volunteering with the Washington County Historical Society today.

The Washington County Historical Society depends upon your annual dues and support contributions to assist with the many programs and services it offers to the public. The Society uses these funds to operate The Archives: a research library with historical collections available for all, The Henry Fearing House: a museum, to restore The Anchorage: a mansion of historic importance and to present a variety of educational programs throughout the year.
